Debbie Goodwin is the Director of Advancement for W. M. Keck Observatory

KAMUELA, Hawaii (August 8th, 2005) Debbie Goodwin has been named director of advancement at the W. M. Keck Observatory on Hawaii Island. Ms. Goodwin was most recently the Interim Director of Advancement for Humboldt State University. The W. M. Keck Observatory established a development office in 2005 to bring philanthropic resources to match the highest aspirations of their 20 year strategic plan.

Ms. Goodwin was raised on Oahu. She gained her fundraising expertise from The Nature Conservancy of Hawaii and from her own non-profit which hosted cultural exchanges between Hawaii and Russia in the 1980’s and 90’s. She returns to Hawaii after spending nine years in Northern California.
