Tours of the Waimea Headquarter facilities are available Monday through Friday for qualified educational and non-profit groups. Visits are scheduled on an as-available basis for groups of 30 people or less. Special arrangements may be made for school visits.

Each tour lasts about 40 minutes and includes a guided walking tour of the campus, historical overview of the Observatory, discussion of recent scientific breakthroughs, future projects and a typical day in the life of the Observatory.

A small boutique featuring a distinctive line of gifts and apparel is open Monday through Friday between 2 p.m. and 5 p.m.
