• Safety, Health, and Environmental Affairs (SHEA) Requirements for Service Agreements (For work performed on WMKO premises)

Additional Requirements for Work/Services at WMKO’s Maunakea Facility

• Waiver of Liability Consent, Release of Liability, and Assumption of Risk (Must be completed by all vendors providing services at WMKO’s Maunakea Facility)
• Driving on Maunakea
• The Maunakea Invasive Species Management Plan
• Each person performing work at the Maunakea summit (including sub-contractor personnel) must complete an orientation prior to working on, or in support of, activities at the Maunakea summit. The orientation must be completed online at: https://hilo.hawaii.edu/maunakea/stewardship/orientation.  This orientation is required by the Maunakea Comprehensive Management Plan for activities on University of Hawaii managed lands. The orientation takes about 1.5 hours to complete and must be done every 3 years.
